About This Site

A few questions we get asked often.

Who is this site for?
Anyone learning about preeclampsia — whether you're pregnant, postpartum, supporting a loved one, or simply educating yourself. The site is written in plain language so it feels approachable, not clinical.
Is this medical advice?
No. preeclampsia.fyi is for education and awareness only. It does not replace the guidance of a qualified healthcare provider. Always contact your care team about anything that doesn't feel right.
Where does the information come from?
The site draws on widely recognized obstetric and public-health sources — including the Preeclampsia Foundation, ACOG, and the CDC — translated into plain language and paired with real survivor stories.
Can I share my own story?
Yes — and we hope you do. You can share your story under your name, your initials, or anonymously. Every story helps another mother feel seen and informed.
How can I help spread awareness?
Share the site with a friend, a partner, or a provider. Mark May 22 — World Preeclampsia Day. Subscribe to the newsletter to receive new survivor stories and awareness updates.
